We are looking for a Senior Magento Developer with proven leadership capabilities and deep technical proficiency in the Magento framework. This role requires an individual who can not only architect and implement scalable eCommerce solutions but also lead development teams and collaborate cross-functionally across projects.
Responsibilities
Our responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- A solid understanding of the Magento framework and extensive experience programming with Magento.
- Manage and fine-tune Redis for full page caching, session storage, and data cache.
- Configure and maintain Varnish cache for efficient content delivery and cache invalidation strategies.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks at the application, database, and infrastructure levels.
- Implement session handling strategies across multi-node environments.
- Work closely with the team to set up and optimize load balancer configurations for horizontal scaling.
- Experience working with multi-store, multi-language, and heavily customized Magento installations.
- Collaborate with developers to review and refactor custom modules.
- Analyze and optimize Magento 2 performance on both the frontend and backend.
- Work with CDNs and integrate with Magento caching logic.
- Experience with cloud-based Magento hosting, including deployment, maintenance, and performance tuning.
- Great understanding and experience with Subversion, and best practices for version control.
- Monitor Magento health and uptime using tools like New Relic.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer science, IT, software engineering, web development, programming or other subjects.
- At least 5 years of experience with Magento in high-performance environments.
- Deep knowledge of Redis, Varnish, and Magento caching internals.
- Experience with load balancing, multi-node Magento, and session management.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (New Relic).
- Magento Magento-certified developer is a plus.
